NSAD publishes visualised data to further the understanding of addiction and mental health issues in New Zealand.
With more than 60 years of experience in the addiction treatment sector, we know about the challenges that NGOs and funders are facing.
Any addiction and mental health interventions should always be based on reliable data – but often funders and NGOs alike need to rely on anecdotal evidence and impressions when making important decisions.
NSAD aims to change this by providing comprehensive data that is understandable for all stakeholders. We work with government agencies as well as NGOs in the sector, to ensure that our database is comprehensive, reliable and up-to-date, to reflect national as well as regional trends.
Our strength is the visualisation of complex data into easy-to-understand reports. By making this data accessible, we aim to promote the conversation about how addiction and mental health issues are understood and treated in New Zealand.
